AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF MARION COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA AND THE GIRL SCOUTS OF AMERICA; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Marion County, Mississippi, in their discretion, may contribute to the Boy Scouts of America, out of any available funds, an amount not to exceed Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00) during calendar year 1999.
SECTION 2. The Board of Supervisors of Marion County, Mississippi, in their discretion, may contribute to the Girl Scouts of America, out of any available funds, an amount not to exceed Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00) during calendar year 1999. SECTION 3. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
